Whether you decide to support your local professional is of course your choice and with the many high street golf retailers now offering some sort of service, there is now more option than ever before to choose from, but as your new professional situated at your club I intend to represent, serve and support you all as much as I can and in return I would request you give me the chance to match any price you may already have been quoted, if I can’t, and it will only be due to suppliers trade prices, so be it, but at least you’ve given me the option and that is all I can ask.

LESSONS Prices for tuition are as follows and please remember the ‘Swing Suite’ at the far end of the golf range will shortly be fully operational for video digital analysis on all aspects of your swing. Digital technology and visual aids can be a great learning tool for any newly required exercise and golf is no different. When you can see yourself on a split screen monitor where one image gives the ‘before’ pictures and the other gives the ‘after’ it becomes increasing easy to understand the changes that may be required to improve your game and enhance your enjoyment of the game even further. As I am sure a lot of you are aware by now, you have a new PGA Golf Professional. I took over my duties at Rutland County Golf Club as of 8th January 2006 and immediately was made to feel as though I had arrived ‘home’. Those of you I have so far had the good fortune to meet I can’t thank you enough for welcoming me to the club in the manner you have. To say you have made me feel as though I have been quickly accepted would be an understatement and I look forward to meeting a lot more of the membership over the up and coming months.
